King Salad aka Cosmo
also known in indonesian Kenikir / Intan berayun
but most commonly known as
Ulam Raja

purchased this instant plant from an indonesian worker who planted it at his backyard for his own consumption. I pleaded with him to part one from his many self grown (from seeds) plants many blooming with flowers.

Though he was reluctant but I sensed that he was happy to share his pride of crop with me and got rm$10 in return.

His advise this plant needs lot of watering but in this weather raining non stop for the past 2 days i'm scared that it drown in this downpour.

Stay healthy my King until you knights come galloping to
tend to your need on wednesday.

At the back of the house my veggies corner.

Chillies, limau purut, pudina, stevia, kesum, selasih, kari & pandan lined up the bed.


Finally after 6 mths harvesting the first passion fruit, still not ripe yet hopefully will get to taste this in a week time when it turns purplish (i think).

The blue zincs covering the row of houses at the backyard had been taken down.  Workers were busy dismantling and clearing the grass patches.

By the progress of it, won't be long for the occupants to receive their keys this year.  Heard that the houses on the left hand side of Precinct 5 (from the security post) the hand-over keys would be this April.

Pic on the top right hand is the exit of our immediate back neighbour.

a week of downpour
the rainy season helps my garden blooming with the various flowers.
i'm luving it.

the men of idaman 5/7 doing gardening together-gather.

the construction of our garden plot officially completed today, rite from the front to the side perimeter ended at the backyard-vegetable bed. the side gate is ready with lock.

further housekeeping needs to be done and will be bringing in plants. have alredi in mind wat to be planted-flowering shrubs & herbs keeping close to the theme fragrant garden.
